    jeeyonmakes: “Fox Armor.” Ink on paper, 10.13.11 Another sketchbook drawing scanned and cleaned up. I’m trying to put all the photos I took in the Arms and Armor wing at the Met to good use as conceptual springboards. The armor here isn’t based on any particular piece, but I definitely had the intricacy and meticulous detailing of some of the pieces in mind as I sketched. Looking at it this size I can see a few places where I need to fill in a couple more lines - I really enjoy working on two pages in my sketchbook, but it’s a real pain to piece together afterwards. I think I’m going to spend more time using textures when I go in with color on this one.
